AskRandy is an operating division of Golden Oak Enterprises Inc. This policy explains how information submitted through AskRandy.ca is handled.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, contact details, project address, contractor information, project description, quotations, photographs and other files you choose to submit.

How we use it

Your information is used to respond to your inquiry, evaluate your project, deliver the advisory service you request, maintain service records and meet legal or accounting obligations. AskRandy does not sell your personal information.

Availability inquiries

We save your customer and project addresses, province, postal code, requested service and inquiry status before payment to confirm availability and track demand by province. An inquiry does not require payment. Optional expansion emails require your separate consent; you may withdraw it by contacting Randy. Provincial demand summaries use counts rather than publishing customer details.

Documents and confidentiality

Uploaded quotations and photographs are treated as confidential service materials. Access is limited to what is reasonably required to operate the service and provide your review.

Retention and security

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used. Records are retained only as long as needed for service, legal and operational purposes, then securely deleted when appropriate.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.
